Too bad I didn't know you when you worked there, but then we worked at the same place for a very short time and didn't know each other.Cliffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08322086604599640345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33436317.post-31954527120778059462009-10-12T08:24:31.490-04:002009-10-12T08:24:31.490-04:00That was a fun job....I was working there when the...That was a fun job....I was working there when they put in the Dairy Queen, it wasn't a BellStore at the time though. Glad they still have some good people working there!! When I worked retail, I used to assure those who were working with me that an irate customer was yelling at the top name on their badge(name of store) and not the bottom(theirs).

And going into Christmas season, irate customers will be out in full force getting ready to blame the associate for having enough of an advertised item on the last day of the sale.Cliffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08322086604599640345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33436317.post-78126078957184222292009-10-10T01:51:36.637-04:002009-10-10T01:51:36.637-04:00I think some customers need coaching in good custo...I think some customers need coaching in good customer manners too. I have seen people snapping their fingers at servers in restaurants and complaining about such minute little things. The people that work at restaurants are there to help you and to serve they are not your slaves. I was just telling the hubby the other day how disappointed I was with our Vet and also the service we received at a restaurant the other day. Hopefully good customer service is not a dying art.
P.S. So many people have not a clue. To me, it is just common sense. I suppose that course is not available in school these days.
