Today I started my new job. I should say "Happy New Year" since this was my first work day of 2010, but I had no problem putting the correct year on any of the myriad of paperwork I had to sign. But some things don't change. I took the same interstate highways going to work this morning and I stopped to say "hi" to Beth. We stayed in contact during my time off work and she was pleased to see I got me a job and enjoyed seeing me in dress pants, dress shirt, and tie. The trip was less than half what it was going to Cleveland, and I was on the road 3 hours later than before, so I was curious as to what that big, bright, yellow thing in the east was. There will be a week of classroom training, then time on the phones. Along with paperwork, we saw videos on workplace safety and harassment, things mandated by government agencies.
