As you all know by now, the most famous athlete in Cleveland since Jim Brown, LeBron James announced on ESPN that he was going to "take his talents to South Beach" and play for the Miami Heat. Guess what? Cleveland didn't slide into Lake Erie. However, judging by the reactions to stories on Cleveland.com, you would have thought LeBron stole their candy.
Well in Cleveland sports in the past 14 years, there have been 4 superstars leave via free agency, 2 successive Cy Young winners traded before they became free agents, and one football team leave for another city. Each time something happened, the sun rose the next day. And at my age, I have accepted this as a common happening.
And as "Hammersucks" stated on my other post about this, the name on the front is more important than the one on the back.
But for the next couple of days, I will enjoy the rantings of hurting fans.
