The week that I wish wasn't

If you are one of my Facebook friends, you know I had a rough day yesterday.

I had dropped my son off for an appointment and was going to make a couple of stops before returning to get him afterwards. First stop was the Goodwill where I was going to look around. After nothing there caught my eye, I went to my car with the intention of going to Evil Big Box Store(tm) #1812. Only problem is the WIXYmobile wouldn't start. This was about 3:30 and the other car was sitting at home with a flat tire. Adam had found a way to our house and his friend changed the tire on the other car, but I still had to get my car to my mechanic and his tow truck was non functional. And we could not afford to call anybody. After Kathy made a few calls we had gotten a tow truck to come and a friend friend from our church offered to pay for the tow. I finally got home around 7:00. While I was sitting at the Goodwill, I posted on Facebook by texting. I stated that I was a pathetic loser. I later deleted it and apologized for it.

Kathy said last night to look at the bright side. Things couldn't get any worse. Well maybe or maybe not. Today we had to put down one of our cats.

This week really sucks.

I am sorry you are having such a rotten week...and a BAD few days.
Things look bad right now, but realy, you know it could always be worse. You have your family. You have your health. I hate to be a pollyanna...but here I am.
I will send up prayers for you and your family. Keep your chin up, that way you can always see the sun.

I'm sorry about the troubles. Losing a beloved pet is really hard. Hope that things will be going better soon.

Sorry you had to let your cat go. I have had to make that decision before and it is painful. But as a vet once told me, it's the one gift that we can give our animals to stop the pain and suffering.
I hope your car troubles are over soon, and I'm still sending good thoughts your way about your job situation.

P.S.- You are not a loser.
