"www" Stands for WORLD WIDE web

I would like to thank Scott Wynn for the inspiration for this post.

I had heard on the news yesterday that a pet store in a local mall had closed. The reason for this was due to some cruelty to some of the animals. One of the employees had drowned two rabbits and her manager took a picture of her holding the dead animals. She posted the photo on her Facebook page.

This young lady will be facing charges which may include time behind bars. I don't know what she may be more guilty of, cruelty to animals or stupidity. I mean come on, what will this do for her chances of getting a decent job in the future?

We are always warned that things we put on the internet can stay on forever. That goes for MySpace, Facebook, and other social utilities. There are many things that you may dismiss right now but will come back to bite you tomorrow.

i read about that pet store. what is the insanity all about, drugs? i say that because it is the only thing that makes any sense to me. i did the most incredulously stupid things on drugs 99 percent of crimes committed today are drug related. i know we need more NA out there it is just hard to get members to get involved and spread the message, i hear enough about the mess.

That's right. Dirty little secrets, these days, don't stay that way.

Small horrors become larger ones later, maybe this will halt that process. Her life will evolve from this altercation however she chooses, and which ever direction she chooses.
Her life is still in her control.

She may or may not make the next better decision. We'll have to wait and watch if she choose "Martyr" or "Activist" or something in between.

not sure who's the worst (or stupidest) on this one - the employee or the manager that photo'd it and posted it! hopefully they're both being punished somehow....

There have always been silly, cruel and stupid people. The internet is only a magnifying glass to their awful acts.

I wish those rabbits could come back to bite that ex-employee! I saw on the news where they closed that store down completely.

So senseless..

You know we have a bunny and a chinchilla and 10 other pets (reptiles/amphibian)..

Why would anyone want to harm bunnies??

Real sick..
