As most may or may not know, Kathy and I have been going through some very rough times for over the past year and a half. It has taken it's toll on Kathy to the point where our doctor is afraid that if the tension doesn't ease up, she will either have a nervous breakdown or a heart attack. I have been trying to take care of her in whatever way I can.
Yesterday afternoon, Kathy was entering some Coke points for me. After she was done she handed the laptop back to me and I was looking at some of the things I could redeem the points for. I had seen that I could get her a twelve month membership to Club Pogo, which is something she asked for for her birthday. She loves the gaming sites. Long story short, Kathy got one of her birthday presents two months early. I'm hoping this can also be therapeutic for her.

I have so much respect for a man who takes care of his wife --- as well as wives taking care of their husband.
I hope she gets better. Life seem to get a little harder for us all -- and I am glad I still have hope, because without it I am lost.
God bless you both!
take care, suz
And you are a good man..
And make time for you too so you don't get burned out.
You have to take care of yourself so you'll be around to be a good hubby for her for a loooooong time.
and bravo on all the TLC. You are an awesome husband, Cliff. :-)
My hubby's been doing the same for me this august. It's been a rough year for us too and health wise for me... kind of tough as well. All I want to do is sleep lately. I'm napping every afternoon. Since I came out of hospital (finally had the hernia surgery yaay!) Hubby's been doing 90% of the cooking (I just give the instructions) and he bought me a new computer game. :-)
I sure hope next year is better than this one though - for all of us!
love and hugs for both of you.
