Busted at the Evil Big Box Store(tm)

Last night Kathy wasn't feeling all that well. both physically and emotionally. Usually the prescription that works best for her is a package of Reese's peanut butter cups, or it's seasonal equivalent. Being after 10pm, the best place to go was into Wadsworth since Rite Aid closes at 10.

So onward I go, to Evil Big Box Store(tm) #2966. I hadn't shaved all day, and my shirt had a stain from supper. You know what that means, don't you? This means the time is ripe for running into someone I haven't seen for years. But that didn't happen. This time, I ran into a reader of this blog, whom I met last night for the first time. But once again, I met him at the Evil Big Box Store(tm). Cliff Note: Please note that I have never said I don't shop there.

As I was pushing my cart through the produce department, I'm asked, "Is your name Cliff?" I answer in the affirmative. "Cliff Feightner?" Again I answer yes. He then told me that he read my blog. I then had to ask him who he was. He told me that he was YEKIMI. Cliff Note: I typed this in caps because he does, not because I was yelling it.

We then talked for the next several minutes, a most pleasant conversation, as we are both radio geeks. Only difference is that YEKIMI is a former radio employee and I'm a long time dreamer.

I enjoy meeting all my internet friends. I just wish events in my life wouldn't follow along the guidelines of Murphy's Law.

You're famous! You could always get a stylist to help you get ready for meeting your fans.

Just kidding...Though I think it's pretty cool that someone recognized you from your blog.

Maybe someday we will run into each other at Wal-Mart. Do you ever shop at the one in Benton Harbor Michigan? That's the one I go to.

I've never had the pleasure of going to Evil Big Box Store(tm) #2062. As a matter of fact, the last time I was in Michigan, there were no Walmarts anywhere near north of the Mason-Dixon line.

Cliff Note:You see I did some preparation in response of Jessica's comment.

Well Cliff if you ever get to EBBS #'s 1510 or 1521, you may just run into me. #1510 is where my brother Mark does 3rd shift right here in Florence, while 1521 is relatively close to where a good friend of mine lives (technically considered Cincinnati, but in what is known as Groesbeck - my friend lives just about 3 miles north in the Northbrook section).

Oh, and there is also EBBS #4609, which is also close to where this friend lives - along with being a few miles south of my biological dad's home in Ross, Ohio (technically considered its own entity, but not by much, as it's just outside of the larger city of Hamilton.

WEEE! I got a "shout out"!

Oh, and the only reason the name is in caps is because my caps lock key was on when I signed up. I didn't notice it till it was too late so I guess it will be YEKIMI forever. So I'm not really shouting if you see it that way. [although it does make it easier to see with my crummy eyesight.] So if you type it LARGE or small, I won't care.

P.S.: I didn't notice the stain.

That is cool Cliff how you were "busted" in the Box store by an online commenter. I hope to run into you someday but it won't be in a Box store.

Hope Kathy feels better now!
