New update on Mrs74

First, Kathy and I both thank you for your concern and well wishes. Kathy called me a few minutes ago and said the doctor was in to see her. He wants to keep her an extra day because of swelling. The good part about that is that physical therapy can work with her a little more in the hospital. There are some things that physical therapists(or as the doctors there call them "physical terrorists") can do that spouses can't, at least without wanting to cry with them.

We are hoping that the hospital has wi-fi so I can bring up my laptop and she can go through her email.

glad to hear your mrs is going good cliff - - i've known some folks who have had knee replacements and the results have all been really good - - lotsa pains with those terrorists you talk about, but in the end it seems to be worth it. know it will all be good for your wife...we'll keep good thoughts and prayers...

That is good news. I think the therapy part is key to recovery. I have been taking an ederly lady to her appointments recently and she did great!!

My husband had one of those terrorists after his back surgery. They do a good job. Give Kathy my best.

The therapy can be very trying and exhausting from what I've heard, but it is very helpful in getting back to normal as far as range of motion and so forth.
