Notes for Tuesday:Updated

This time I stayed one step ahead of the law. The WIXYmobile was running very loud and I was afraid that I would get around some overzealous Cleveland policeman again. Mrs74 told me to stay off the road I was spotted on the last time. I told her this wasn't possible since it was the road my work was on. I took it to the muffler shop and they told me that the catalytic converter was disconnected but could be welded back on, which set me back about 80 dollars, which beat the price of a ticket.

My father in law will be having surgery Thursday. They will be replacing his defibrillator and he will stay in the hospital until his coumadin level is back up to what it should be. Cliff Note: This has been updated.

Thursday is the Mogadore Band Show, which is the beginning of season 9 for me as Rittman marching band announcer. It will also be season 3 of "From the Pressbox," where I review the show as I see it. Bands performing at the Mogadore show will be Hudson, Newcomerstown, Akron Garfield, St. Vincent-St. Mary, Manchester, and of course Rittman and Mogadore. Admission $2 for students and seniors, $4 for adults. Show time 7:30.

Blessings to your father-in-law.

I can't believe it is going on three years for "From the Press Box"

Time flies!

I need another haircut. So do you!

You were just in Florida. You should have gotten a haircut there.

And at my age, I'm growing my hair longer...because I can.

With the male of the species at a certain age the hair either goes gray or it evacuates. More about that on a coming post.

First "From the Pressbox" was September 2, 2006.

I had started writing this blog a week after the Mogadore show that season.

WIXYcam photos were added last season.

Hope all goes well for your FIL-prayers 4 him.

You need to add some audio here of your announcing so us out of towners can hear you!

I will post something from YouTube in the next couple of days, a clip that features the world famous entrance of the Rittman Indians Marching Band. Will also give you a hint of why I have the reputation I do as an announcer.

Cliff Note: It will be sort of a repost.
