Best wishes for Triv....

I have just learned that Mike Trivisonno, the "antihero" of this blog, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. the linked story from the 19 action news site states that Triv will be undergoing surgery today at the Cleveland Clinic. Mike plans on making a quick, full recovery and being back behind his golden microphone at WTAM/1100 as soon as possible.

Please keep Mike and his family in your prayers.

Cliff Note: I mean every word of my post. Please pray for Triv.

I don't like Triv, I can't stand the man (Maybe it's all schtick, I dunno). And all I can say is that a time like this is no time to play games.
I hope that he beats this, for him and his family. I would rather he beat this and drive me crazy for the next 30 years but that's just me.

Mike and Cliff...great point in that no matter how much we don't like someone, we never want to see them suffer something like cancer. Those of us who have had relatives with cancer, know that it is a terrible disease that doesn't discriminate. Hopefully, someday, research will find a cure.

Prayer for him would only benefit him if the prayer was from a Christian, that is, someone who put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior, for the forgiveness of their sins.

I encourage readers to put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior, for the forgiveness of their sins. After that one of the things you can do is pray for Triv.

I meant to say that people that are non-Christians can pray for him but God is not obligated to answer those prayers. God does answer prayers of Christians though.

I wanted to add:

God will answer the prayer of a non-Christian that is one of seeking God or one where they put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior, for the forgivness of their sins.

I wanted to add that non-Christians praying for the health of someone may benefit the person in some way but God is not obligated to answer that prayer as He is with Christians, that is those that have put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior, for the forgiveness of their sins and only Christians go to heaven.

In some cases, God may choose to answer the prayer of a non-Christian praying for the health of someone.

Post 800: Time to chat

Hi Guys, It's hard to believe that this is post number 800 for this blog. I started this blog out of my desire to communicate. Since radio and television is becoming more and more automated and less and less personal, I'm glad I made the decision to go in this direction as it has given me many blessings. When I first decided to write my musings, a friend from the radio and television boards who goes by the name of newsnomore, told me not to be discouraged if I didn't get any readers. The fact that I did in the early going made me surprised and grateful that anyone was enjoying what I wrote. I've had people tell me that maybe it wasn't meant for me to ever be in radio, that maybe my calling was blogging. Nowadays I think blogging makes for better two way conversation than terrestrial radio, especially the way I do it, non confrontational. From a "Battleground State"

I am going to make this one short and sweet. I live in Ohio, in this election season, one of the so called "Battleground states," a state crucial for any candidate presidential hopes. Of course we have had many visits from presidential and vice presidential candidates. Other blogs have dissected both campaigns so I will not. The only questions I have is will the promises made by either of these candidates exclusive to these states be fulfilled, or will they prove only to be hot air?
