Has this ever happened to you?

Yesterday afternoon I made a stop at the soon to be Evil Big Box Store(tm) in Medina to pick up some prescriptions for my in laws. The pharmacy associate then asked me a question I did not know the answer to, so I got out my WIXY/at&t phonecam to call my mother in law to ask. I could not hear from the hand set. I hung up and tried again. Then I noticed that my bluetooth headset was on. I hung up again then put my bluetooth on and successfully made the call.

Problem was the bluetooth was in my coat pocket, and for whatever reason was turned on. Cliff Note:The only reason I even have the stupid thing is because it came free with my phone.

My question to you is have you ever accidently turned on your bluetooth and found out when trying to call someone?

I was thinking, since they were your in-laws, did you get them some evil prescriptions, and if so, I suspect my in-laws go to the same Evil Big Box Store(tm).

Leesa, you might have a point there. Perhaps it was some evil force there which powered my bluetooth. The evil force originated from the evil home office in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Cant help you there Cliff!I am one of those people who have a cell phone for the sole reason of calling my husband in a store to ask him where he is.

I don't own a blue tooth, and I only have a bare bones cell plan, (emergencies only) for $100 a year. Has anyone ever felt embarrassed when answering someone, only to find out they were not talking to you at all because they were on a wireless phone? That's happened to me!

Just got a Bluetooth enabled phone in December..I just use the phone cards. as I rarely use the phone..maybe once or twice a week. Bluetooth seems just one more thing to worry about. It creeps me out to see people seemingly talking to themselves..LOL

I do like seeing how in the grocery store I work at people are always trying to tlak to someone with their cell phone when its just common sense that walls and electrical/electronic factors are going to block a cell phone signal..

I keep far away from cell phones... I don't want to carry yet another thing with me.. or have to recharge it at night... or have anyone call me when I'm out and about...

I like the old fashion way of calling only... (I'm outdated)...but I love your stories..

It is in the 60s here today..yay

your readers sure have a great sense of humor, and yes this has happened to me before so I stopped using the thingy. My Wes uses his faithfully and I don't know if he has had problems or not, Gotta go now my 2 year old just woke up and is staring at me in a diaper. It is after midnight so I need to put her cute little but back in bed, has this ever happened to you?
