Okay, my last post was written before I left for work this morning. Things at that time didn't look as though they would be all that peachy when I got there. Walking through the parking lot, I slipped on the ice and fell. I landed on my left knee, which I had replaced in February, 2001. Although it is stiff now, I can attest to the fact that Dr. Gradisar did good work.
Anyway we had our Christmas luncheon at work with enough food to have another one tomorrow.
I love my blogger friends. Happy Wife emailed me this afternoon with the intention of picking up mine and Kathy's spirits, with a link to some of her dog videos. It worked.
Father in Law update. Eddie is still in the hospital. His doctor will try to adjust his medication again. Kathy took her mother to Applebees, then shopping. Her youngest sister is coming up to do some caretaking this weekend and into next week. I want to thank everybody for their prayers. Please keep all of us in your prayers.
Another good thing about blogging is sometimes you reach some who wouldn't ordinarily reach. I got an email from Gray and Company publishers. I am going to get a free copy of a book about long time Cleveland television personality Chuck Schodowski, or Big Chuck. And I will be doing a review of the book right here.

Isn't it amazing what medical wonders we have now? Replacing knees wasn't an option for some people in our families. I saw the facial transplant story on the news a couple days ago.
I had a scary fall a couple nights ago when we got a decent snowfall here in Toledo. I was getting in my car. I put my right foot in and was holding onto the door with my left hand. My left foot came out from under me and I went down but broke the fall because I was still holding onto the door. My butt hit hard on the ground. I was ok.
PS... went and read Wynn's blog - thanks for the recommendation! It was really funny. :-)
