I may get a few cheap hits just by the title, but why not?
Tim Daugherty had asked me this past Saturday if there was a radio station using the WIXY call letters, so I told him a country music station from Illinois now uses the letters, and have since about 1992.
WIXY/100.3 is a radio station owned by Saga Communications. They serve the east central region of Illinois. From what I have seen of their web page the station has quite a bit of local programming, but I haven't done any research to find out how much voice tracking is used there.

The morning show on WIXY(also pronounced "wick see", as we are used to) is called Holstein and Company, hosted by Steve Holstein and M

So if you like country music you see they are taking good care of the call letters.
